Kim Kardashian has hired a lawyer to sue her ex-publicist for slander.

Kardashian’s former publicist Jonathan Jaxson publicly criticised the reality star’s marriage to Kris Humphries last week, equating the union to a sham. He said on morning television program Good Day L.A. last Friday that the wedding was “staged”.

Incensed by Jaxson’s statements Kardashian has recruited powerhouse lawyer Marty Singer to file a defamation lawsuit against the publicist.
