On Virginia’s WTKR Newschannel 3, what seemed to be a segment on Halloween became a humorous altercation between the two anchors when Blaine Stewart, a white male anchor called out his female African-American colleague, Laila Muhammad on her “beautiful weave.” Shocked by her colleague’s remark, Laila denied that her hair was a weave. Both anchors then left the set laughing at the whole scenario.
