Another fake butt implant surgeon is apparently doing the rounds. The so-called cosmetologist operating out of a North Carolina hotel was arrested after injecting an erotic dancer with deadly injections.

Lauretta Cheek, of Greensboro, was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly injecting the dancer’s buttocks with the disfiguring potion. She’s been charged with one misdemeanor count of practicing medicine without a license, Guilford County Sheriff’s Det. Craig Cotten said.

The 42-year-old was already on probation for administering similar treatments to three women in 2008, which left them with kidney failure. The injections were later determined to most likely contain types of infertility drugs.

Cheek was released on a written promise to appear in court. The victim was a dancer from Charlotte who met Cheek in a North Carolina Motel 6 for the buttock-enhancing injection last year, Cotten said. It’s thought the dancer paid about $500, but the unknown substance sent the victim into hospital emergency rooms twice, Cotten said.

While Cotten said they do not know what was used, “it appears that the substance that was injected into her basically burned its way back out,” the detective said. “It’s not just one big spot. Being a liquid or gel-type of material, it kind of went in different directions and obviously got infected and left pretty significant scarring.”

Cotten said he has found no connection to a Florida case last month in which several women seeking curvier rears were injected by phony butt doctor, Oneal Ron Morris.

The case is just one of several in the past few weeks where phony cosmetic surgeons carry out illegal and often dangerous backroom procedures, often in hotel rooms, at cut rate prices.

Despite the recent media coverage highlighting the dangers of these operations, police say many women and transgender females will continue to play with their lives because of compelling desire to obtain perfection.
