Beyoncé is clearly not letting motherhood slow her down. The “Countdown” singer is reportedly back in the studio working on album number five!

The R&B singer/song-writer The Dream, who wrote Beyoncé’s chart topping hit “Single Ladies” and some additional songs on her latest album 4, recently broke the news that he teaming up again with Beyoncé for her new project.

“She’s ready to work, she’s crazy! She never stops doing anything. I don’t know if [pregnancy] is going to slow her down,” The Dream said. “She’s just incredible with doing things, I don’t know how she’s going to do it, she’s just a maniac… in a good way.”

Beyoncé’s 4, did not perform as well as some of her previous albums, merely reaching platinum status with 956,000 sold as of this month.

However with 4, she has been in the public spotlight more than ever, having released 7 videos since the album the dropped in June.

Most recently she has been on a whirlwind tour promoting her Beyonce Live at Roseland DVD, just in time for the holidays.

If Beyoncé is indeed back in the studio, she would not be the first megastar to record while pregnant. According to Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey was so inspired during her pregnancy that she hit the studio and finished recording her new album.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are expecting their first child together to arrive in February.
