The Sh*t Girls Say saga continues — this time it was for a good cause. A group of women came together to make a video titled ‘Sh*t That Everybody Says to Rape Victims’. The video focuses on lines that many people use to brush of situations that are legally considered rape. The video starts of saying: “How do you rape a prostitute? That’s like shoplifting.”
What makes these comments even more disturbing is the fact that many women say these things to one another, opening the door for sexual abuse to be done without punishment. The video speaks about the lack of attention, if any, given to sexual assaults that happen to promiscuous women and men.
