From Yahoo! Sports – During the Australia Open Serena Willimas wore a custom made Black History Month headband and sneakers. Black History Month is traditionally celebrated during the month of February.

Serena Williams is getting an early start celebrating Black History Month. The American tennis star wore a custom-made Black History Month headband and sneakers during her first-round win at the Australian Open.

Nike created the collection specially for the 14-time Grand Slam champion. It features the sneakers, sweatband and bag, and also includes a bomber jacket that Serena won’t have much interest in wearing in Melbourne’s sweltering summer heat.
