Drake has broken Diddy’s record for the most number 1 rap singles on the Billboard charts, and he’s only been at it for three years. With his popular collaboration with Nicki Minaj, “Make Me Proud”, Drake now has scored 11 No.1 songs and with the release of his latest video “Practice”, he shows no signs of letting up. Billboard reports:

With his 11th No. 1 on Billboard’s Rap Songs chart, Drake rewrites the mark for most leaders in the list’s 23-year history. I.e., when it comes to topping the tally the most, Drake, in less than three years, has become the best the chart ever had.

Drake earns his 11th No. 1 on the ranking, which launched in Billboard as a sales survey the week of March 11, 1989, and transformed to an airplay-based chart in the June 8, 2002, issue, as “Make Me Proud,” featuring Nicki Minaj, rises 2-1.

With the ascension of “Proud,” Drake breaks a tie with Diddy for the most No. 1s on Rap Songs. Diddy rang up 10 rulers on the chart between 1996’s Lil’ Kim-fronted “No Time” and 2003’s “Shake Ya Tailfeather,” with Nelly and Murphy Lee.
