It’s that time of year again — March Madness. President Barack Obama has made his tournament picks, and college hoops fans are ready for a steady dose of buzzer beaters, upsets, and Cinderella stories.

TheGrio has selected ten players to watch during this year’s tournament. The players range from freshman sensations to four-year seasoned team leaders. The tournament’s South Region is loaded with potential NBA talent, from Baylor forward Perry Jones, III. to Kentucky freshman center Anthony Davis.

The region also boasts Duke’s go-to guard, Austin Rivers, and Connecticut’s Andre Drummond and Jeremy Lamb. This tournament could be many of these teams’ fans last chance to see the players shine.

Other standouts include Kansas’ Thomas Robinson and Michigan State senior forward Draymond Green, whose maturity as a post player and leader would make any basketball purist proud.
