Whitney Houston’s former sister-in-law Monique Houston has expressed her disapproval of Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Bobbi Kristina. “The whole interview was a little disturbing. It was a little soon to expose Bobbi Kristina to the media. I’ve lost my mother — and losing your mother is a huge trauma — and I really think she needs time to heal.” Monique Houston also explained why she left Gary Houston. The Urban Daily reports:

Whitney Houston’s former sister-in-law has come forward to voice her opinion of the Oprah interview with Houston’s family. Monique Houston, who is Gary Houston’s first wife, spoke with Dr. Drew about reasons why she divorced Whitney’s brother. Monique Houston also shared why she thought Bobbi Kristina’s interview with Oprah was premature.

Houston told Dr.Drew Pinsky she left Gary, Whitney Houston’s brother, because of issues-one being his drug addiction. “Not necessarily because he was a drug addict, but once things were spinning too far out of control, I had to make the decision to separate myself from the situation,” she said.
