There are new reports that Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina may be engaged to her ‘brother,’ Nick Gordon.
The late Whitney Houston took Gordon in when he was 12-years-old, and raised him as her own son. And the now 22-year-old, who is still living in Houston’s Atlanta home with Bobbi Kristina, is making headlines as the two are alleged to be romantically involved.

The pair invited friends to a cookout over the weekend to confirm that they are indeed in love, a source told TMZ. The couple’s friends didn’t believe the news until the two kissed in front of everyone, something that completely “shocked their guests,” the source said.
While out this weekend, Bobbi Kristina was seen wearing a ring on her left hand, where an engagement ring is traditionally worn. The ring actually belonged to her late mother and is reportedly valued at $250,000.
According to In Touch Weekly Senior Editor Dorothy Cascerceri, the relationship between Bobbi Kristina and Gordon has evolved from dating to a full blown engagement. “They went from being friends and brother and sister to being lovers. They’re romantically involved and they seem like they’re really in love and are very into one another.”
Last week a friend of Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, Cissy Houston, told TMZ that the matriarch said “what they’re doing is incestuous,” in reference to the widely circulated video of Bobbi Kristina and Gordon embracing and kissing in public.
Though they are not technically blood relatives, Whitney often referred to Gordon as her son, and Bobbi Kristina called him her brother.
According to the New York Daily News, the “I Will Always Love You” singer treated Gordon like her own child, after his father was imprisoned and his mother could not care for him.
There is little public information available on Gordon. Since Houston’s untimely death February 11, Gordon has taken to Twitter numerous times to defend his relationship with Bobbi Kristina.
Last week he tweeted “Yea we got a little closer and what!!!”
He also addressed “all the haters” by saying, “I’ve proved my loyalty to her and the Houston family. I don’t owe any of you anything. Ha I don’t even know y’all haters….Some ppl have no lives so they gotta be in ours,” he said. Gordon has since closed his Twitter account.
Cissy Houston is reportedly outraged that the two are together and is taking action to get Gordon booted from Whitney Houston’s $1.2 million mansion.
