Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

From Clutch magazine: Although legendary music mogul Clive Davis said a Whitney Houston biopic isn’t happening at the moment, that hasn’t stopped the speculation about who should play the R&B diva on screen. Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, and Meagan Good have all expressed interest, but now it seems Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, would like to throw her hat ring into the ring as well.

According to TMZ, Bobbi Kris has been telling friends that she would be perfect for the role because she knew her mother best.

But is that enough?

Although I don’t doubt that BK was her mother’s best friend, perhaps being so close to the subject wouldn’t allow her to play the role full-out, especially when it came to portraying some of Houston’s more difficult times.

Also, Bobbi Kris is a newbie to acting, recently scoring her first role in Tyler Perry’s TV show For Better or Worse, so maybe she should take some time, study the craft, and then bring her mom’s story to the big screen.
