The 10th annual TV Land Awards brought together members of the In Living Color cast Sunday. They were presented with the network’s “Groundbreaking Award” but some of the show’s biggest stars were not in attendance. Vibe.com reports:

For the first time in 18 years the original cast of In Living Color, reunited to receive TV Lands’s “Groundbreaking Award” at its annual awards show. Though much of the original cast were present including some fly girls their were a few absentees.

According to Necole Bitchie, Jamie Foxx was a no show as he was in New Orleans shooting a film with Quentin Tarantino. In addition to Foxx’s absence popular fly girl Jennifer Lopez was absent due to being a judge on American Idol. However the most controversial absentee was co-creator and My Wife and Kids star Damon Waynes, who popularized the character of “Homie the Clown” on the 90’s sketch comedy sitcom. According to sources, Damon chose not to participate in the reunion and award show because, “it wasn’t his thing,” not only did Damon fail to show up he also denied the network’s request to use any of the scenes that featured him such as his “Homie the Clown” and “Men on Film.”

Expect the saga of In Living Color to continue as the sketch comedy will return with an all new cast.
