NBC Chicago– A teen from Chicago’s south side was sentenced to 12 months of probation and 15 days of community service for his involvement in the beating of a man. The attack was captured on video.

Scotty Strahan entered a guilty plea and was sentenced on May 18, Cook County State’s Attorney’s office spokesman Andy Conklin said.

Strahan, 18, turned himself into authorities last November after police issued alerts seeking his arrest. He was charged him with two counts of aggravated battery, though he only pleaded guilty to one count.

Video posted to WorldStarHipHop.com showed Strahan punch a man at the Chicago Transit Authority’s Red Line stop at Chicago & State.
