After dedicating seven years to the hit music countdown show 106 & Park, hosts Terrence J and Rocsi are leaving. The two broke the news last night on their show and Stephen J. Hill, President of Music Programming & Specials for BET Networks, confirmed the news in a statement. “Today, after seven exciting years, 106 & Park hosts Terrence J and Rocsi announced that they will be leaving the show. It is no secret that there are a number of opportunities coming their way and we’re fortunate that they’ve been with 106 & Park for so long.”

The duo are pursuing opportunities on film and other ventures.  Terrence added that the ‘farewell show’ for him and Rocsi will surely be one to remember.

There are rumors that BET revolving reporters Paigion and Shorty da Prince, both also radio personalities, are front-runners for taking over the show, though no official announcement has been made.
