Rapper Lil Wayne was denied entry to the Oklahoma City Thunder v. San Antonio Spurs NBA game Thursday night, and he was not happy about being snubbed.

After being turned away at the door, Wayne he took to Twitter to voice how he felt, tweeting: “Was going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow. Smh, Go Spurs”.

There were rumors Friday morning that there is a dispute between Wayne (real name Dwayne Carter) and Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden. Harden is said to be in love with one of Wayne’s ex girlfriends, Miami rapper Trina. But Lil Wayne and Trina are said to be dating on and off, something that may  have made Harden jealous. It was suggested that he may have gotten Wayne banned from the arena.

However, Thunder executives cleared up the confusion, saying Lil Wayne is welcome at any Thunder games.

He just needs a ticket.

Thunder spokesman Dan Mahoney said Wayne’s representatives contacted the team requesting tickets, but that they needed the tickets to be court-side. The problem is, Thunder basketball games have been sold out for the entire season, including the playoffs.

Said Mahoney, “we’d love to have him at a game, but like anyone else, he needs a ticket.”
