Man shot dead at Harlem basketball court in broad daylight

NBC New York - A 25-year-old man was killed and three others were wounded during a shooting at a Harlem basketball court late Sunday afternoon, police say.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

NBC New York – A 25-year-old man was killed and three others were wounded during a shooting at a Harlem basketball court late Sunday afternoon, police say.

The shooutout happened at about 5 p.m. at the West 129th Street and Seventh Avenue basketball court.

Akeem Green was shot once in the head and pronounced dead at a hospital.

The three wounded included a 23-year-old man who was shot once in the head, a 20-year-old man who was grazed in the head and a 19-year-old man who was shot once in the leg. All three were listed in stable condition.
