The Django Unchained movie trailer was released late last night, and the movie is expected to be another Quentin Tarantino box office hit. The trailer shows the film is full of classic soul music (James Brown’s “The Payback,” popular actors, and action-packed excitement.
The film tells the story of a freed slave named Django (the D is silent), played by Jamie Foxx, who teams up with a bounty hunter (Oscar winner Christoph Waltz) to track down a pair of nefarious brothers and rescue Django’s wife in the process. This task is made harder when Django’s wife is captured by Calvin Candie, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, a villainous plantation owner. The movie is set to be released in theaters December 25th later this year.
