An organization of men interested in Alpha Kappa Alpha, known as MIAKA, plan to file a lawsuit against the oldest National Pan-Hellenic Council sorority. The all gay men’s group claims homophobia and gender discrimination by the sorority.
KollegeKid.com reports, the MIAKAs first came into the limelight when they founded an unofficial chapter of AKA at Texas Southern University and Prairie View A&M University a couple of years ago. Photos of MIAKAs wearing pink, green, and pearls, while raising up their pinkies, have surfaced on the Internet.
