NBC Miami – One of the suspects accused of firing dozens of bullets into a Miami Gardens home last month injuring a young girl has been arrested, police said Thursday.

Brandon Potter, 29, is facing attempted murder, aggravated battery and discharging a firearm in public charges in the May 30 shooting at a home in the 2300 block of Northwest 207th Street.

Police say 10 people, including 7 children and 3 adults, were in the home when Potter and two other men fired some 70 bullets into the residence.

According to a Miami Gardens Police arrest report, a woman who was in the home at the time of the shooting said she saw Potter and two other men get out of a gray and white Nissan Altima outside the home, two of them holding AK-47s and the third a handgun.
