Two California men have been cited and must appear in court because of a video that surfaced of two boys, just 5 and 6 years old, fighting as an adult cheers them on.
The video, called “My nephew messed him up for picking on his home boy”, shows two young boys kicking and choking each other as an adult records and encourages them in the background.
Gabriel Gamboa, 23 and Augustin Gamboa, 24 were cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor by the San Bernardino sheriff’s office.
Authorities received anonymous tips from neighbors that a fight took place at the apartment complex where both the two men and the children live.
When authorities interviewed people at the complex they learned that young children are often involved in fights there.
The fight ended only after another child stepped in and ended it.
The video was first uploaded to Facebook and then reported to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
