Grammy-winning singer Mary J. Blige will join NBC’s reality singing competition show The Voice as an adviser for Adam Levine’s team on the show’s third season. The Huffington Post reports:

Following her silver screen appearance in “Rock Of Ages” and criticism of her serenade of Burger King’s crispy chicken snack wraps, Mary J. Blige is scheduled to join the third season of NBC’s popular singing competition show, “The Voice.”

According to Rolling Stone, the “My Life” songstress has signed on as an advising mentor for Adam Levine’s team.
