Antone Owens, 21, allegedly broke into his neighbors’ homes, sometimes multiple times, so that he could masturbate, police in Eugene, Ore. say. Even though Owens has Internet at home, police say, he allegedly enjoys the rush of pleasuring himself in other people’s homes.

In one instance a woman reportedly went to her home to find that someone had been in it. There was a cellphone, a bottle of lubricant and towels, and her computer was open with some pornography appearing on its screen. When she turned to dial 911, she saw Owens standing by the glass door. He threatened her, and after she gave him back his phone and lubricant, ran off, police said.

Police do not consider Owens to be dangerous, but he is in custody. “He knows he has a problem,” Eugene police Sgt. Mitch Martin told the Register-Guard. “Our hope is that he gets the help he needs so that he can be a functioning member of society.”

The report said Owens voluntarily provided DNA samples to the police last week and it matched the samples found at the crime scene. He is charged with three counts of first degree burglary, menacing coercion.
