Legendary production company Full Force has announced a sequel to the 1990’s comedy classic House Party. The announcement came during the Global Fusion Festival in Philadelphia. The film’s screenwriter and director plans to center the plot around an old school vs. new school party.

The Global Fusion Festival aims to showcase the cultural diversity of Philadelphia. It aims to integrate multicultural festivities, including dance performances and food. In its sixth year, the festival has gone from a two day event to a week full of events attracting nearly 30,000 attendees.

During the Festival, the brothers behind Full Force, Bowlegged Lou and B-Fine, discussed their business background and offered tips on how to overcome financial woes. During their speech, Lou went into further detail about the production of the House Party sequel.

“The script is getting tuned up and fixed about. It will have cameo appearances and it will be crazy,” said Bowlegged Lou.

Lou claimed that both Kid ‘n Play are open to reprising their roles for the film and their leading lady, Tisha Campbell, is considering returning too. In addition to this movie, the Full Force brothers are also considering a reality show on TV One.
