Olympian Gabby Douglas didn’t just leave London with gold medals, she left with the hearts of people all over the world, who showed their love via social media.
According to Wildfire, Douglas’ Facebook friends have increased 3960 percent during the Olympics. Her 582,912 Facebook fans and 662,520Twitter fans dwarf fellow gymnasts Marcel Nguyen (194,962 Facebook fans) and Camille Muffat (124,294 Facebook fans).
TiVo also tallied the top ten moments watched during the Olympic games (not including Opening and Closing Ceremonies) and Gabby Douglas  leads with 5 of the 10 moments. The number 1 moment of the Olympics was August 2nd, “Women’s Gymnastics all-around final official standings displayed. Gabrielle Douglas comes in first while Victoria Komova is brought to tears as she takes the silver.”
