The new Sparkle film features an all-star cast of black stars, including Jordin Sparks, Carmen Ejogo, Tika Sumpter, Mike Epps, Derek Luke, Omari Hardwick, and the late Whitney Houston. The remake of the 1976 movie hits theaters Friday and stars Houston as the mother of three girls who form a singing group and struggles with fame and drug addiction.
