Reality star Kim Kardashian recently updated her personal website with pictures from a photo shoot she did with Hype Williams. The star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians says she was trying to look like Diana Ross for the photo shoot:“here are pics from behind the scenes of a shoot I did with Hype Williams,” Kim wrote on her website. “Clyde Haygood and Joyce Bonelli glammed me up and we went for a fun, crazy look, channeling Diana Ross. Definitely a new look for me.”
Kim, who is currently dating Kanye West, made an attempt to pay tribute to an African American icon with her latest photo shoot, while wearing dark makeup and big wavy hair.
Certainly some black women are going to find Kim’s attempt to appear as Diana Ross to be offensive. What do you think? Is this look a win or a fail?
