Martha Bagby, a 64-year-old Sacramento grandmother, was arrested for child endangerment over the weekend. According to sources, police found Bagby’s 5-year old granddaughter laying around open pill bottles, knives, and various methamphetamine drug paraphernalia.
Police arrived at Bagsby’s residence Saturday afternoon to serve a felony warrant to someone else, yet accidentally stumbled upon the disturbing scene.
Due to the extreme living conditions, police removed the 5-year-old girl, along with her 6-year-old brother, from the house and placed them into protective custody.
“I’m trying to picture knives all around her. It’s very bad,” a neighbor of Bagby’s told KOVR-TV.
