Think Like a Man star and ex-106th and Park host Terrence J just landed a brand new high-profile gig. He will be replacing Ryan Seacrest as co-host of E! News, the E! channel’s mainstay entertainment news show. Terrence will be joining reality star Giuliana Rancic as an anchor in November. The Hollywood Reporter has more:

Terrence Jenkins will slip into Ryan Seacrest’s former slot as co-host of E! News.

With the multi-hyphenate relinquishing his news duties as part of a wide-ranging deal he signed with NBCUniversal this past spring, E! has hired the former 106 & Park co-host to join Giuliana Rancic at the weekday anchor desk beginning November 12. As part of his new role, Jenkins (formerly known as Terrence J) will work on personality profiles and will report for the news program.

Jason Kennedy and Catt Sadler will take the helm of E! News Weekend.

The move comes as the newly-rebranded network looks to be a bigger player in the competitive breaking news landscape under chairwoman Bonnie Hammer.
