Rihanna was arguably the lady of the evening at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. All eyes were on the Barbadian beauty as she debuted her short new hair-do, delivered an amazing performance, and took the award show’s top honor, video of the year.
Rihanna kicked off the show performing her song “Cockiness (I Love It)” while sitting upon a throne. Twitter today is buzzing over rapper A$AP Rocky, who joined Rihanna on stage during her performance and proceeded to kiss her on the neck and grab her butt, after finishing his rap verse.
The “Talk that Talk” singer also made jaws drop during a moment when she hugged and kissed her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
Rihanna approached Brown after winning the VMA for video of the year for “We Found Love.”
According to a post on RyanSeacrest.com, “Rihanna goes directly up to Chris Brown and throws both arms around her ex-boyfriend in a mutual embrace. After giving a quick hug to his neighbor, Rihanna also snickers and tousles Chris’ newly bleached hair in a playful manner.”
Brown was seated front row at the award’s show, just a few seats away from Drake. This was the their first time in public together after their infamous brawl at W.I.P nightclub in New York City in June. Luckily the evening went off without any drama.
