Oprah Winfrey is currently in New Orleans shooting her upcoming historical drama The Butler. The movie, directed by Lee Daniels, centers around the career of a White House butler, Eugene Allen (played by Oscar winner Forest Whitaker), who served eight American presidents between 1952 and 1986. Oprah stars as Gloria Gaines, Allen’s wife. The Butler also features Cuba Gooding Jr., Lenny Kravitz, Terrence Howard, Robin Williams, John Cusack, Colman Domingo, Mariah Carey and several other major stars.

Over the past few weeks, the “Queen of Talk” has given her nearly 14 million followers a behind the scenes pass look at the film through tweeting photos of herself on-set.

Most recently Oprah tweeted a photo of herself wearing and 80’s style hair-do, along with Jane Fonda as Nancy Reagan and Alan Rickman as President Ronald Reagan.

This will be Oprah’s first major film since appearing Beloved in 1998. In 1985 She received an Academy Award nomination for the best supporting actress for her role in the hit film The Color Purple.
