Usher, like many celebrities and public figures, is lending his voice to OurTime.org, encouraging young people to get out and register to vote.
In the video on their website, the musician’s message to the youth is: “This is when your voice would matter, this is the time that you should engage, this is the time when you can make a difference.”
With the November 2012 presidential election fast approaching, and with some states levying stricter Voter I.D. laws, it is especially crucial for everyone eligible to vote to know their registration status, which makes tomorrow’s National Voter Registration Day all the more important.
