The beef between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj does not seem to be dying down anytime soon.
Yesterday, video surfaced showing the pair in an intense argument during American Idol auditions that were being held in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The clip begins with Minaj screaming at Carey, “I told them I’m not f**kin’ putting up with her f**kin’ highness over there.”
Carey can be heard saying, “oh why, why do I have a three year old sitting around me?” She continues: “I can’t see my kids, because you decided to act like a little crazy b**ch and go all around the stage.”
The argument continued for nearly 60 seconds.
Barbara Walters spoke with Mariah this morning, and read an excerpt from their discussion on today’s episode of The View.
“When Nicki walked off the set, multiple people heard Nicki say, ‘if I had a gun I would shoot that bi**h,’” Mariah told Barbara.
Barbara added: “She says she’s very concerned, she can’t take a chance and she’s hired extra security. Mariah says she feels emotionally uncomfortable but will continue the show.”
Mariah’s publicist also released a statement on her behalf today. “For the record, Mariah is doing well. She obviously has serious concerns. She plans to move forward. She believes this season will be the best ever,” the statement read.
Nicki took to Twitter to set the record straight on the argument she had with Mariah, and the aftermath that continues to unfold.
In a series of tweets the “Pound The Alarm” singer attempted to shoot down Mariah’s claims and also blasted Walters for not reaching out to the Minaj camp for Nicki’s account of the story.
