Ex-Single Ladies star Stacey Dash surprised many of her fans by tweeting her endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney this weekend.

The Clueless actress wrote: “Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future. @MittRomney @TeamRomney #mittromney #VOTE #voteromney pic.twitter.com/9HFUhWul”

The backlash from her followers was swift and succinct:

“You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing @MittRomney. You’re voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot.”

“Wait stacey dash is voting for romney? you get a lil money and you forget that you’re black and a woman. two things romney hates.”

“Still clueless.”
