Back in June, movie fans got their first look at the highly-anticipated thriller, Alex Cross, starring Tyler Perry. Today, Summit Entertainment has released 3 new promotional clips from film, showing the actor, famous for his Madea roles, taking on a serious character.
Alex Cross opens Friday, October 19th and features a cast including Giancarlo Esposito, Matthew Fox, Ed Burns, Cicely Tyson and Perry.
Perry took over the Cross role from Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman, which generated controversy when it was first announced.
In the film, Perry takes on the role of a homicide detective who’s engaged in an epic game of cat and mouse with a deranged serial killer, played by Fox.
