They may be from different worlds — hip-hop and the George W. Bush administration — but that doesn’t mean former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld and music producer Jermaine Dupri can’t be on the same page.
On Thursday, Rumsfeld, most famous for his much-criticized decision making regarding the invasion and occupation of Iraq, retweeted Dupri, who helped popularize the phrase “money ain’t a thang.”
Dupri got the Twitter bromance started by posting a Rumsfeld quote: “If you are not criticized, you may not be doing much,” on his Global 14 page. Rumsfeld, via Twitter, had this response:
