A group of black Hollywood actors came together to make a video encouraging people to exercise their right to vote. John Legend, Michael Ealy, Omar Miller, Joy Bryant, Russell Hornsby, Laz Alonso, Jesse Williams and others created the YouTube video Get Out And Vote.
Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams opens the video recalling the 2000 presidential election, which was decide by 537 votes.
“Your vote counts, your vote matters and voting is literally the least that you can do,” Williams said. “We line up for concerts, we line up for restaurants, we line up for shoes. Line up to vote today.”
