The hip-hop themed comedy sketch show Wild ‘N Out will be returning to MTV2.

During its first run in the mid 2000s, Wild ‘N Out was one of MTV’s highest rated shows, with its head-to-head improvisational battles that featured guest performers and judges like Mike Jones, Lil Wayne, Kanye West and  Snoop Dogg.

Cannon says fans ask him everyday when Wild ‘N Out would be back on the air and he’s very excited to revive the show with some of the original cast members, like Kevin Hart and Katt Williams, along with some new blood.

Paul Ricci, Senior Vice President of Programming and Production for MTV2 said, “Building on our long-standing relationship with Nick Cannon, we are ecstatic to welcome his creative genius back to the MTV family. The re-mixed Wild ‘N Out will deliver a high-energy, clever and hilarious addition to MTV2’s original programming line-up.”

Look out for the new series in 2013.
