Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

In April of last year, rapper Rick Ross came out with the song Stay Schemin” on which fellow recording artist Drake appeared.

During Drake’s verse he rapped, “Kobe ’bout to lose a hundred fifty, Ms. Kobe my ni**a I hate it had to be him. B*tch you wasn’t with me shooting in the gym, b*tch you wasn’t with me shooting in the gym.”

These lyrics were in reference to Los Angeles Laker star Kobe Bryant and his wife’s Vanessa Bryant very public marital woes.

The couple’s marriage appeared to be on the rocks until the past couple of months.

Kobe and Vanessa did not react publicly to Drake’s line until recently, when Vanessa took to social media, according to Complex.

Vanessa said that she “received a text of apology forwarded from [Drake’s] manager. It’s done and over with and it’s time for people to honestly think before speaking.”
