Miami Heat basketball player Udonis Haslem is known for his tough style of play on the court as he is the Miami Heat’s all-time leading rebounder, surpassing the great Alonzo Mourning.
Now, Haslem wants to take on another role of sorts. Haslem says that he wants to be referred to as ‘Django.’
Michael Wallace, a beat writer for the Heat and who covers the NBA for ESPN.com tweeted the news out on January 2.
From now on, Haslem says no longer wants to be called Udonis or 'UD'. He said address him in 2013 as Django, FWIW.
