An image of Adele having what appears to be a testy exchange with her fellow performer Chris Brown at this past weekend’s Grammy Awards has gone viral and led to some speculation about a clash between the two superstars.
The Huffington Post alleges that Adele may have been chastising Brown for refusing to take part in a standing ovation for the best contemporary R&B award winner, Frank Ocean.
Ocean and Brown were involved in a well-publicized physical confrontation (reportedly over a parking space) earlier this month in Los Angeles.
Although he was allegedly assaulted, Ocean has opted not to press charges against his controversial colleague.
However, the photo below, which was also taken at the 55th annual awards, suggests that the photo is likely being misinterpreted by music fans.
