If you had the chance to catch the Billboard Music Awards this past Sunday, by now you’ve seen the performance where singer Miguel inadvertently kicked/”leg dropped” a fan as he leaped across the stage.
As with all embarrassing live TV moments, the Miguel accident became instant comedic material for social media.
Miguel’s crash landing was similar to the professional wrestling move called the “leg drop.” The leg drop is a finishing move commonly associated with pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, which he used to dispose of his enemies.
The WWE icon had to weighed in on the Miguel meme via Twitter:
