“Ashtrays and Heartbreaks” is a duet featuring the unlikely pairing of former Disney actress, singer Miley Cyrus.
Though the 20-year-old has been in the news recently for her self-proclaimed love of “twerking”, she still has the vocal pipes. Critics may be skeptical, but this awkward musical mash up surprisingly works.
The P.R. Brown directed music video gives “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks” a visually somber tone, focusing on the song’s message of remembering the ones we’ve lost.
