Passengers grew impatient Sunday after their Allegiant Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Phoenix was delayed.

They were all aboard the flight while the plane spent almost five hours on the tarmac and reportedly left passengers with no food, water or air conditioning.

In effort to kill the time, one man used portable speakers to blast R. Kelly’s classic ballad “I Believe I Can Fly”.

Soon, other passengers joined him in singing the lyrics to the song, which include:

I believe I can fly/ I believe I can touch the sky

I think about it every night and day/ Spread my wings and fly away

One passenger recorded the entertaining performance and published the video to You Tube.

In the video’s description box, he said: “Two people passed out, two vomited and to avoid a mutiny, the passengers banded together in song.”
