T.I. is one of the few rappers who won’t bite his tongue when you ask him a question, especially when it involves his children.
So when the “King of the South” was asked in a recent interview about what he would do if he were the parents of Trayvon Martin, T.I. made it very clear that there would be no need for a trial for George Zimmerman.
He would take on Martin’s shooter personally.
“I would have been on trial,” T.I. told Power 98 in an exclusive radio interview. “It would’ve been the trial of the father who killed the man who killed [his child]. That would have been my story.”

Zimmerman was acquitted of murder and lesser charges in the death of Martin. He plead not guilty and his defense team argued that Zimmerman shot Martin in self defense.
T.I.’s previous criminal record is well known within hip-hop circles, but over the past few years, his softer side has been on display largely due to the success of his reality TV show, The Family Hustle.
The rap star saluted the Martin family for keeping their composure after Zimmerman was found not guilty.

My hat goes off because [the Martins] are much more clear and level-headed thinkers than I. I definitely think something needs to be done, but it’s just another harsh reminder of the world that we live in.”
