James Francis Edwards, one of the three Oklahoma teenagers charged with the murder of Australian baseball player Christopher Lane, has been accused of tweeting racist sentiments.

James Edwards, 15, Chancey Luna, 16, and Michael Jones, 17, have all been charged as adults in Lane’s death.

The young men reportedly said they killed the East Central University baseball player because they were “bored.”

Edwards’ past tweets included one that stated: “90% of white ppl are nasty. #HATE THEM,” according to the Huffington Post. That tweet has since been deleted from his official Twitter account.

In response to the Zimmerman verdict, Edwards, also referred to as “bug,” tweeted “Ayeee I knocced out 5 woods since Zimmerman court!:) lol shit ima keep sleepin shit! #ayeeee.”

“Woods” refers to prison slang referring to white inmates.

On August 13, Edwards tweeted: “With my n-words when it’s time to start taken life’s.”

Edwards’ Twitter account as of 5pm Friday still contained numerous tweets and Vine videos involving gang related content, including on that read “90 HOODSTA CRIP CUH!

While some say Edwards has made “anti-white statements,” the 15-year-old has also posted Vine videos, tweets and retweets featuring what appears to be his white girlfriend and white friends.

Edwards posted a photo of his supposed girlfriend with the caption, “My b*tch better than yours!…. #and she got a attitude,” and a Vine video including the same girl showing a bed and suggesting her parents weren’t there.

What could potentially be the most disturbing Vine the young teen posted was a video of him with a gun, pointing it and flashing what may be gang signs.

Meanwhile, some conservative news outlets have drawn comparisons to the Trayvon Martin case and labeled this murder a hate crime.

Both Fox and Friends and The Daily Caller originally reported that Lane was shot and killed by “three black teens,” reports Mediaite.

The Daily Caller originally ran a photo of the wrong Michael Jones, portraying him as African-American.

And the Drudge Report recently displayed only the two black suspects’ photos when reporting story.

However, Jones has been confirmed as a white male by the Duncan PD.

The 22-year-old’s murder has cause international outrage. Tim Fisher, former deputy prime minister of Australia called for a boycott of the U.S. and even suggested this event was the “bitter harvest and legacy of the policies of the NRA.
