Snoop Dogg, the rapper, actor and youth football coach, has been selected to host the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards this year.

The west coast hip-hop icon stopped by 106 and Park yesterday to confirm his upcoming hosting duties, but to also reveal the names of this year’s award nominees.

Though Drake, Jay-Z, and Wale all have multiple nominations, Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with 14 nods.
