Today is the late Michael Jackson’s 55th birthday and we still listen to his music and feel his impact on the music industry to this day.
Some of our favorite artists have used the King of Pop’s classic productions as the background to some of their biggest hits.
Obvious samples such as Kanye West’s “Good Life” borrow heavily from “Pretty Young Thing” while others require closer inspection (for exampled Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Got Your Money” swipes beats from Jackson’s iconic “Billie Jean”).
These are a few entertainers who are in debt to MJ for what he did for their careers.
