The Arsenio Hall Show premiered Monday night and among the many who welcomed the comedian’s return to late-night TV was a roster of big-name stars.

Celebrities like Paula Abdul, Chris Tucker, Snoop Dogg and Jay Leno joined Hall during the show’s debut as surprise guests, filling the hour with comedic spoofs and entertaining performances.

The night officially marked the talk show host’s comeback after almost 20 years. The show appears on syndicated TV and more 200 outlets have signed up to carry it.

“Leave it to the first black late night host to take 19 years off. And only a black man would think the job would be there when he returned,” Hall said.

In the show’s opener, Hall staged a scene as if he were in a therapy session only to discover he was on the set of The Tonight Show with Leno.

Tucker later appears on the show as he and Hall have a mini-dance session before the two sit down to chat, followed by a performance from Snoop Dogg — aka Snoop Lion.

Before the hour was up, former American Idol host and singer Abdul made a surprise appearance on the show.

She asked him: “Now that you’re working again, does that mean you can move out of my pool house?”
