Jerry Bruckheimer in talks to produce ‘Beverly Hills Cop 4’

Jerry Bruckheimer is in talks to produce the latest installment of Paramount’s Beverly Hills Cop franchise, reports Variety.

Eddie Murphy signed on for the new television series, also entitled Beverly Hills Cop, in July, but after CBS passed on the series the focus shifted back to a big-screen iteration.

Bruckheimer produced the first two installments of Beverly Hills Cop with his producing partner, the late Don Simpson.

According to Variety, Bruckheimer is also helping to develop the script for Bad Boys 3.
