The League of Young Voters, a non-profit organization aimed at educating young people of color about voting, is hosting an anti-gun violence panel this Friday in Washington, D.C.

The panel discussion, entitled No Guns Allowed: Examining the Underlying Triggers Behind Gun Violence, will feature panelists: National Director of the NAACP Youth and College Division Sammie Dow, Executive Director and Founder of Million Hoodies for Justice Daniel Maree, Executive Director of the Philadelphia Youth Commision Jamira Burley, Washington Post columnist and founder/editor-in-chief of Urban Cusp Rahiel Tesfamariam, and Howard University graduate student Anton House.

Moderated by the Executive Director of the League of Young Voters, Dr. Rob Baker, the conversation will include practical solutions for eliminating gun violence.

The No Guns Allowed initiative was inspired by Snoop Dogg, aka Snoop Lion’s, song “No Guns Allowed” featuring Drake and Cori B. off his recently released reggae album. The League of Young Voters partnered with Snoop Dogg for the series of anti-gun violence panels.

This Friday will mark the League of Young Voter’s fourth No Guns Allowed panel.

Snoop Dogg, T.I. and Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler have all participated in past panel discussions.

Friday’s panel will be held at Busboys and Poets, located at 1025 5th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001, from 10:30-11:30AM EST.

You can follow the panel on social media using the hashtag #NoGunsAllowed.
